Read the testimonials below detailing how consistent respite providers can impact families!
The respite care also provided us with much-needed time alone to reconnect with each other and with God. This time of refreshment has empowered us to be the better parents we desired to be. I am incredibly grateful for the King's Ranch team and the invaluable opportunity they offered us. Having experienced respite care multiple times, we truly recognize its importance for our family. We have utilized the motivational respite with one child while utilizing the therapeutic respite with the other kids, and I just can’t say enough about how much it helped our family move forward. Thank you King's Ranch for this wonderful opportunity!``
-A Grateful Unplowed Ground Mom
King's Ranch respite was absolutely a lifeline for our family. With no extended family or support in our lives willing to follow the guidelines required to keep our son from acting out after I got a break, we came to rely on the highly specialized and structured level of care that the respite staff at King's Ranch provided. I could rest easier knowing that his requirement for safe, structured, and kind care was being met, and that it was consistent with the program we were doing at home. Just as important, there wasn't retaliation on his part when he returned home! Thank you King's Ranch for these years of treasured support.

Meet Coordinator of Respite Care, Jessica Gray
Jessica says ``Respite care was a vital lifeline for us during the most intense stages of the Unplowed Ground program, giving us the strength to keep moving forward. Because I’ve lived the impact of respite firsthand, thanks to King's Ranch, I now help children engage in their healing, support families with practical tools, and offer hope rooted in experience. We started implementing the tools from Unplowed Ground in 2019, and we are so thankful for the growth we have seen. I have been doing respite for several years and have enjoyed being able to help others in a way most people cannot.``
