Lee Anne Cooper is a wife of twenty five years and a mother of six children, two of whom are adopted. She is a registered nurse practitioner turned stay at home mom who eventually went on to become a therapeutic parenting specialist. Her work is focused on children with attachment difficulties. She currently serves as the co-founder and director of King’s Ranch: Hope for Children in Need in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She serves alongside her husband, Eddie, who is an orthopedic surgeon and holds a master of divinity from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary.
Lee Anne developed Unplowed Ground: Cultivating the Soil of your Challenging Child’s Heart, after years of living with children struggling with attachment challenges. She combines this experience with what they have found to be the most effective techniques of many of the experts in the field, in a context of timeless scriptural truths that acknowledges Christ as the ultimate source of all healing.
Unplowed Ground is a tool King’s Ranch uses to minister to adoptive and foster families nation wide. This resource aids many families each year, encouraging them to grow in their walk with the Lord, helping them surround themselves with a supportive, skilled team, and equipping them with the tools they need to help their challenging children heal!
